I usually buy entirely practical Hunter Argyll low calf wellies, but simply couldn't get them in the right size so though I would give these a go. They fit my wide feet and "generous" well muscled calves in a way that allows me to tuck my trousers inside the boot - essential as I use my wellies for digging my allotment. I have a fixed left ankle joint which can make getting boots on and off difficult. However, these go on and off with ease. The padded insole [like the Argyll boots] makes them comfortable to wear without the need for an additional insole. For durability, I like a latex rubber welly as the synthetic versions do not stand up to much more than casual strolling or pavement dog walking. These fit the bill perfectly on all counts. The boots are very comfortable and the design is a bit of fun. I am unsure that they will last as long as my usual Argyll wellies. If they show early signs of deterioration, I will update this review according. That said, the manufacturers do not claim that they are heavy duty. If you need I truly wide fit, easy on and off welly, I can recommend these. The plus point is that there are a range of designs to choose from.

These are good quality Wellington boots which are really easy to get on and off. I got them because I am disabled in one leg and find it almost impossible to put ordinary Wellington's on as I cannot wriggle one foot as is usually required. These wide ankle half height boots were perfect for getting on and off. Sadly I am EEEE foot width which made them tight on me but I expected that from a boot EEE width and will use them in case they stretch a bit. Maybe Jileon would consider making some even wider boots for those of us who have struggled through life having to wear shoes far too long to get the width. I have nevertheless ordered the next size up in the hope that they will be wider as I really like the boots and they are more comfortable than standard ones.

I was excited to find a pair of wellies that would fit my calves perfectly, unfortunately they still come up tight on my calf and bunch up a little around the ankle. I’m hoping with a little bit of wear that the top of the wellie will stretch a little and give me a better fit. Despite that they are great looking boots and the foot width fit is amazing (I have very wide feet), they are too big on my foot length and they are very roomy, but I have put further insoles in for added support anyway. I wore the boots once without added insoles and they seemed pretty comfy, I didn’t get any foot/leg pain like I usually do with other wellies, my feet just slipped around a fair bit because they are so roomy. I did debate about going up a size to see if the calf fit would be better but I think the foot size would have been massive. Overall, this is the closest I have come to finding a pair of wellies that fit my calf and wide feet, plus they look great. I think my problem is having massive calves (50cm), small feet (uk4) and being short (5ft1) so my calves are lower than they should be for the boot.

Although it says for light/medium use, am not sure to what extent this means they are suitable for. In my case walking the dog, gardening, and visiting the stables to do chores. After buying one of these I went ahead and purchased a second pair. They are not cheap, but then neither are the short ones from Hunters and other suppliers. I find that the grip is the bit that gets worn out quickly which is not good in snow/ice or some kinds of mud. Time will tell if they are worth the money. They are wide both in the foot and in the calf size, and although I am a size 61/2 normally, these wellies at size 6 are just fine.

I wear wellies frequently and have trouble finding wider foot wellies ; my calf is normal width . These wellies are really comfy and so attractive . They are the easiest wellies I have every had when it comes to getting them on and off .. and style wise ...although used primarily in the garden and for dog walking in muddy woods , I would not feel at all worried about wearing them out and about as well . Stylish and comfy .. I have also bought a pair of ankle wellies of the same make which are also brillant

As I need wide fitting shoes, I thought triple X would fit. However, although the right foot fitted perfectly, the boot was too tight across the toes. My toes are is slightly raised , not flat and the middle one gets sore if the fit is too tight. I was so disappointed, as they are lovely boots. I had to pay €8 postage and now I'll have to pay more to return them, as I'm in the Irish Republic. It wouldn't cost much if I was in the UK.

My feet have been so happy since I got these. It was easy to replace the liners with my special ortho ones. The wellies are very easy to step in and out of, they fit great (size 4), keep my feet warm and dry and look lovely. I've had a few complements on how nice they are.
