  • EASY TO REMOVE AND CLEAN: Kick spur on heel for easy removal. Safety wellies are easy to clean with a washable nylon liner and tough, rigid PVC sole to wash down.
  • PROTECTION: Steel toe cap protects against impact from falling objects and against compression, giving 200 Joules of protection - equivalent to a weight of 1.5 tonnes resting on the toe area and protective steel midsole to objects penetrating from below and piercing your foot, such as nails, glass shards and more. A high level of slip resistance means you won’t slip over in muddy/adverse conditions, with an anti-static and fuel oil resistant sole.

As other reviews have mentioned, these give a fairly large fit, which is a bonus for me - having found that some of the wellies on Amazon are a size or two smaller than they claim to be, it was very refreshing to find my size 14 feet fit into these size 13 boots with space to spare. Just one word of warning: steel toe caps can be very unforgiving if you accidentally kick a heavy object in slightly oversize boots, so thicker socks might be indicated! Aside from that they are comfortable with a good, solid feel. On the downside, after just under three months' use the left boot has split in two places, so that water can run in by the toe and out at the heel, and the right is not far behind. To be fair, I am hard on boots - around 8 hours' wear per day, and more than the average flexing at the ankle due to crouching etc - but I have had other wellies in the same price range last longer. I suppose all that metal limits the flexibility.

Pros, strong and well made. Good value for money. Cons, very large in foot, the only way to was the liner would be to fillthe boot with soapy water - not removable as expected,, I am not tall, these are mid. Alf length not knee length. Generally I am disappointed with the description of these boots. They will do the job I purchased them for - gardening but I wold not go fishing in them. Low stars due to poor match to description.

I have many names to describe these boot's and Water Proof, Rugged or Tough is not included by a long shot, I bought them for the stables, both boot's never kept the water out and split extensively after just six months but bear in mind I don't wear them in the summer and I bought them in March 23 (Do the Maths); they are arguably as waterproof as a brown paper bag and are as strong as a Vicar's Fart and Split more times than an Escort at a Swinger's Party, they are as much use as a Chocolate Fire Guard in a Blast Furness, I would argue that an Elephant Sitting on your face whilst the Trainer Shout's let it Rip, could be a more pleasurable experience.
