Based on reviews, I decided to go a size up as I want to be able to wear thick socks. I didn't wear my thickest pair, but I loved the ease of putting them on and off. Walking on them, I realised my normal size would have done. However, if I would buy another pair, I would buy the size up again. The sole is nice. One dog pulling me one way, the other opposite, on wet grass, and it never felt slippery. They are not lined, so when it's cold more socks will be welcome. However, they are made of sturdy but flexible material. Nice to walk in.
