I often find it hard to find welly boots that fit as I have chunky calves. These fit perfectly and when wearing jeans too. The fluffiness inside is lovely. They grip well in the mud. These wellies are great for me for doing two playground duties a day!

Lined with soft fleece so keep your foot nice and warm. Lightweight and fit my foot well. Quite slim fitting, which was great as I have slim feet, my feet don't slide around in them. Very good quality, have taken them through snow, ankle deep water and mud, no leaks.

I'm now on my second pair. My first were fine but didn't last long, certainly less than two years. They perished quite badly, however I've seen much more expensive Hunter wellies do the same. Despite this I bought the second pair because I couldn't find any others in the price range that weren't trying to be fashionable or fussy. I don't want fashion wellies. These have quite a robust feel to them, compared to some in the same price bracket or cheaper and they are comfortable. I would, however bin the insoles and buy a separate decent pair. I took the replacement insoles from my last pair and I'm using them in the new. I'd happily buy them again.

For the price of these they are great. Having had Barbour and Hunter in the past, these ones are so much more durable and a very comfortable fit.

Ordered these size 10 (I am size 9 and half) as I needed a new pair of wellies that would enable me to get my feet in easily, as at age 75, when walking the dog every morning at 5am, my limbs and back are not as flexible as they used to be. I was wearing my usual woollen socks, not unusually thick. To my dismay I was unable to get my feet through the extremely tight ankle part of the boot. After much strenuous tugging, swearing and panting, I managed to pull them both on and set off on my walk. The soles were also very hard and unstable when walking on the pavement. (Visions of a sprained ankle sprang to mind) Once in the muddy field, they were a bit better. On my return to the house, as I feared, I was unable get the buggers off! They clamped me around the ankle. I was about to resort to kitchen scissors, when I hooked the heels over the doorstep and slowly, painfully slowly, (more swearing) I managed to wriggle my feet out. (socks pulled off) The next morning at the usual time, I thought I would try again as they might have stretched a little. No chance. Totally unable to my feet past the ankle part of the boot. As they have been used I don't suppose I can send them back. It's back to the old (leaky) Dunlops.
