This is my 2nd pair of these over the years spent a fortune on cheap wellies that were not fit for purpose,which was daily mucking out etc mud and wet and winter,and these wellies are great they are hard-wearing and lovely and warm with the neoprene lining. Some comments are saying wide fit around calf etc but iv found plenty of room for extra socks if needed.

Good quality boots, with thick rubber. Heavy and rather loose around the calves even with the straps pulled tight which distorts the boots and makes them uncomfortable.

Have had these wellies for a few months now and walked in them twice a day for about an hour each walk. Dog likes them. They are heavy duty, lots of rubber, and will last a long time. With the neoprene feet keep warm on cold days. I've struggled with the fit, tried about half-a-dozen different pairs of socks and two different slip-in soles. My feet keep slipping around and the problem, I think now, is the shape of the boot, not the size. The heel is wide and the boot doesn't slim down at the ankle...its a bit odd that.

I am a big chap with big feet. Struggled for years with size 13, which are easy enough to put on but terrible to remove, partly because wellies mean thick socks. After scouring many a site I find these in size 14. Tried ‘em on and the seem comfortable and easily removed. Yet to try ‘em in anger to test grip and so on.

So far so goodwith these wellies. Comfy, waterproof, decent grips and warm with the neoprene lining. However, they definitely come up large and mine slip quite a bit and are almost pulled off in mud. Shame I didn't wear them around the house a bit first or I'd have exchanged for the next size down. I'm a reliable size 10 in most shoes but in these I think a 9 would fit perfectly. Still, they're wearable and cheaper than the competition and I could always wear a thick pair of socks or wellie socks.

Was looking for value Hunter "lookalike" wellies with the warmth of neoprene for work in the countryside. These fit the bill. Thick neoprene, supple with reasonable tread adjustable top gusset so you can tuck in trousers. Under £50 why spend hundreds of pound on brand names only to get a piece of barbed wire rip them open! Better off having a spare pair of these in the cupboard and still be quids in.
