This set of waterproof rain boots arrived in a plastic bag and the first thing that I noticed when I opened the bag was the strong rubber smell. This has remained for quite a while so I have resorted to storing the boots in the shed whilst not in use. The boots are black in colour and have a small logo on the front of the boots with a round toe profile. I ordered these in a size 7 for myself and they fit me well, although I do think they fit best with slightly thicker socks. The boots are ideal for using whilst gardening and although they are aimed towards men, they are equally suited for women as well. The boots are like short wellington boots created in a one piece and are 100% waterproof. The soles have a good amount of non-slip grip which isn’t too deep meaning that it doesn’t collect mud when in the garden. The PVC outer material feels durable and makes the waterproof nature makes it very simple to clean them down with water after use. The boots also have a thin fabric lining; however, this doesn’t offer much cushioning so I would suggest an insole or a thick pair of socks, especially during the colder days as these boots definitely don’t keep your feet warm. They are easy to slip on with the wide opening and tab on the back, and you can slip them off with your heels as well (ideal if they are muddy). They are great for digging and raking in muddier conditions. They are lightweight on your feet and relatively comfortable. However, I am not sure I would be comfortable walking long distances in these as I feel they have the potential to rub. For pottering around in the garden, they are perfect. Priced at £27.99 at the time of reviewing, these rain boots are a nice gardening addition during the autumn and winter months, and the sizing is good. They are a functional boot and although they won't win any fashion awards, they are highly practical if you manage to get the correct size.

These are ideal if you're needing to protect your feet from spillage or water, I've worn them when pressure washing the garden and found they work very well at preventing your feet from becoming saturated with water. We all know how this can ruin a good pair of boots afterall. The material is identical to wellies but they're short cut to go no higher than your ancle. That allows you to wear these in a number of situations more than wellies, for example these would be great for a day at the beach or trekking alongside streams & shallower rivers. The grips are fantastic and adhere well to all surfaces that I've tried. The block paving in my garden can be very slippery when it's cleaned and these allowed me to lock firm to the floor without any danger of slipping. My only complaint is they're slightly uncomfortable on the big toes. The tips are more rounded and not really suited for those of us with pointier big toes. Thankfully I only need to have them on for an hour or so in the garden but could be an issue if you're feet are more Celtic than Roman.

Not only are they light, but they are sturdy enough and I can take each step without feeling anxious about slipping as they have great traction. In the mud, they perform well and I love that I can take a water hose to them for easy clean up. Very easy to put on & more comfortable than expected. They have insoles but they're nothing fancy (not that I expected them to be, just an observation). I chose a 9.5 (men's) for my dad who has a wide foot & wears a 9.5 in sneakers & work boots. They fit well with a little extra room so he could wear thicker socks if the weather called for it. He likes that his foot just slides right in (when wearing socks of course). There are no laces or zippers to contend with so that's why they're perfect if you have a dog who is impatient. As soon as my dog sees my dad get his boots out, he immediately wants to go outside with him & he usually starts whining if he takes too long getting laced up. My dad can put these on so quickly, my dog won't be "inconvenienced" waiting for him. And that's what's most important, obviously... my dogs convenience 😂😂😆😆🐶🐶 All kidding aside, these are ideal for running out to get the mail & even light yard work. I wouldn't wear them to the store or anything but they're perfect for outside at-home chores. Plus he can just hose them off to keep them clean (probably should take the insole out if he does that).

Decent slip-on boots for outdoor chores. Not so comfortable I'd want to wear them all day, but great to slip into when running out for quick/brief chores. They are accurate to the description - basic slip-on rubber boots with a thin fabric lining. Almost feel like a moulded boot, not a structured sole. Tread on the bottom is rugged enough, provides good traction. I'm normally a size 8-8.5 in womens; size 7 in this boot fits well & allows space for thick socks.

I have been wearing these rubber rain boots for a few days and am very pleased with their construction and fit. They didn’t require but a few hours of break-in time. I have a wide sized 10 foot and these boots fit well even with thicker winter weight socks. The 100% PVC material is molded into a unibody construction making them leakproof and 100% waterproof. They are light weight and have a nice tread and sporting a thicker than expected sole which protected the bottom of my feet while walking on my graveled driveway. Some have noted a rubber smell but I didn’t find that to be the case with my pair of boots and I found them to be well constructed and stylishly designed. Because they are ankle length these are best used for walking on wet streets or daily dog walking and not for wading through deep puddles in heavy rain. Each pair has a large heel loop for ease of getting you feet into the boots without resistance. Highly recommended.
