You don't expect cheap boots to last, but they should certainly be able to cope with four months of light to moderate use walking a dog a few times a week over a golf course! One of the boots now letting in water so no longer for purpose. One other issue: getting them on over the ankle area takes some doing, especially to begin with, due to very poor design. I could live with that, but not with wet feet. UPDATE: Although not expensive, the boots should be fit for purpose so I decided to contact Trespass via Amazon. After providing photographic proof of where the sole had split, I was offered a full refund or a replacement pair. I chose the latter and a new pair arrived two days later. The boots are also a much better fit in the ankle area. So now a five star review because of great customer service from Jamie at Trespass.

Boots are roughly 2 sizes too small and are made of such hard plastic there’s very minimal flex in them. On first wear they are rubbing and pinching like crazy. For a brand like Trespass I thought they would be better quality, but perhaps the cheap price reflects the product. Stick with the dunlops for a cheap alternative I’d say, I’ll be binning these ones. My advice, avoid!

Made of plastic type substance not luke a gum boot. Hard to get my feet in as i have arthritis and there is no give especially when they are cold (kept in garage). Keeping this time but will go back to dunlop in the future. Would not recommend

They are horribly rigid, they force you to walk in an unnatural fashion as you can't flex your ankle which isn't really safe when walking the dog on muddy uneven fields, can't return as they've been worn but I'll be buying something else
