These were my 4th pair of the same boots, the first two pairs I had were good for a year but the last two only lasted 9 months and now 4 months respectively before leaking - used for dog walking same route and mileage so can only assume manufacturing quality has gone down - £79.99 for 4 months is a way too expensive - shame as the boots are comfortable but now not fit fo purpose due to poor manufacture - will not buy again.

This is the first pair of wellies I have bought in a long time, think decades. I need them as I have signed up to a Wildlife Charity and the work involves a lot of going into ponds and streams. I wore these all day and my feet felt fine at the end. They were 100% waterproof but not "help, I'm stuck in mud" proof but I don't suppose any are. My usual shoe/ boot size is 11 but I deliberately chose a size 12 as I knew I would be wearing two pairs of socks as pond water is cold what ever time of year it is. The wellies fitted well and weren't too tight. The last really good thing about these wellies as opposed to others I have bought way back in the day is that these came with a good length of elastic holding them together so you can walk easily, the last ones I bought had a stupidly short bit of string tying them together so all I could do was shuffle about and fall over. Thoroughly recommend this boots.

After catching my previous boots on some wire, they got torn, and were no longer waterproof. So I bought these, and tried them out today on a 2-hour dog walk in muddy ground and hard paths. One thing I liked was that the fit was snug. Although there is room to stuff my walking trousers inside, and to wear thick socks, they were not 'sloppy' on my legs or feet. The result was that my feet didn't move around inside them, something that has often happened in the past. They are nice and warm, and when tested by wading through the small local stream, they stayed warm inside, and didn't leak anywhere. The handy stub for pulling them off is a nice addition, and the thick soles provide good cushioning when walking over stones or gravel. I have withheld a fifth star purely because of the price. There are many very similar boots out there much cheaper to buy. I decided to pay more, in the hope that they will last longer. I will just have to hope that they last the coming winter season, and I have got what I paid for. I walk 2-3 hours a day, 7 days a week, and wear wellingtons for close to 8 months of the year. But I do not give them any 'industrial' use, so cannot comment how good they would be in that area. Overall, I am happy with them so far, and will update if they let me down. ***Update. I had to buy a new pair this week, after catching these on some wire. They tore quite easily, and let in water immediately. But they are still good value, comfortable boots***

They are warm , comfortable and easy to get on or off , definitely the most comfy wellies i ever had , I bought them for muddy walks and standing in streams when doing my photography hobby . I am between a size 11 and a 12 I bought the twelve , they are a little loose but a thick wellie sock takes up the slack . Stylish and comfortable I’m really pleased with them . EDIT - disappointingly they failed dramatically withput warning , whilst I was standing in a river taking a waterfall pic , sudden wet and very cold foot , the left heel came away from the upper where the upper joins the sole leaving a split about 1/4" high and 2" wide , extremely annoying for it to happen after 13 months of occasional wear, only wore once or twice per month , had a 5 mile uncomfortable walk back to the car with a cold wet foot and an unstable sole on the boot .... They were the comfiest and warmest I ever used and I am in 2 minds whether to buy again , but reading reviews many people have had similar problems .... Poor build quality let's down a very comfy boot. I have regraded from a 5 star to a 3 star .

Dieser Stiefel ist super! Ich habe den ganzen Winter bei den Pferden keine kalten Füße gehabt. Der Stiefel ist absolut dicht und hält die Füße in Bewegung warm, auch zwei - drei Stunden bei Minusgraden. Den anderen Bewertungen gefolgt, habe ich den Stiefel eine Nummer größer bestellt. Das ist als Frau echt eine Herausforderung, wenn man eh schon so große Füße hat. Aber er hat super gepasst und den Pferden war egal, dass es etwas klobig aussieht (wegen der Größe halt). Aber in erster Linie soll er ja warm und dicht halten. Das Obermaterial am Schaft wirkte dann optisch wiederum ausgleichend, sah halt etwas chicker, aus, sofern das bei einem Gummistiefel eben geht. Klare Kaufempfehlung von mir.
