This Wellington Boot Bag by GERAWOO is way better quality than I expected (which to me explains the current price of £15.99, which I had thought sounded a bit steep). It’s a proper piece of travel/storage kit that holds a man sized pair of wellies or huge walking boots, no trouble. Or actually we have found it works for 2 pairs of walking boots, if you don’t mind laying the boot bag on its side - though I realise that’s not best use of this particular design. (Handy though). The quality is clear as soon as you open it, with the aluminium lining, the waterproof outer, the double zip, the reinforced base that creates a self supporting standing shape, the carry handle - and also a detachable shoulder strap if you want it. Oh and a name card holder to save looking inside if you have more than one, or if you’re travelling with others. It’s proving good and hard wearing in the month I’ve had it, though I would hope it will last many years, and will update on here if I find it develops any weaknesses. I keep it in the car boot for muddy walks, to be able to change boots /wellies into shoes to drive in. Perviously I had just used plastic bags, but this is way more practical and protective. It also looks pretty good when it’s just sitting in our porch with our shoes, too. Very happy with this.

When plastic carrier bags were plentiful, responsible adults did what adults do: keep them inside another bag under the sink. So, with my muddy boots or shoes, I used one and chucked it when it was too grimy or looked ropey. With the steady supply of bags stymied, things are more complicated. Using a reusable carry bag might work as long as it is dedicated. Is this welly bag then a solution? Well, the obvious caveat is I can't speak to longevity from experience, given this is a new product review, but I think the item looks to be well made on first impressions. Trying Gerawoo's Boot Bag for the first time does underline inherent weaknesses in using a plastic bag or bin liner. This bag is not only reusable and designed for purpose, so stronger, it also comes with a dedicated carry handle. Oh wait, you say, a reusable shopping bag does too, and while that is true, most don't have zips to seal in the mud and potential country smells into the bag, nor is the liner designed with mud in mind, nor do many come with shoulder straps. The dedicated shape means no one is going to use these for their shopping accidentally, either. There's even a label slot so you ID what's inside if need be. Then there is the price point, which is pretty good; it's more than most shopping bags and on par with the less expensive gym bags. So, in this product comparison, the dedicated design and lining, I think, does hand the advantage to this bag; loading the boots and corralling them if grubby is just easier over a comparable zip bag. In conclusion, this is a useful bit of kit if you need to change your boots out for another pair of shoes, either for comfort or necessity, like driving, and I think is reasonably priced.

Canvas zip up bag with a carry strap for wellies. It’s ideal for storing them away when they’re not in use, and for taking on camping trips. There’s a small pocket on the outside which would be ideal for taking spare welly socks on trips. The storage bag solves the problem of dropped things disappearing into wellies too! The bag looks like it’s lined with the insulating material found in cool bags, but means that any mud can easily be cleaned off when it’s used to transport muddy wellies. I’m not sure what sizes it would take. I put 1 pair of adult size 5 wellies in and they fitted perfectly with a little bit of extra room. It would maybe take 2 pairs of small adult size wellies with one pair upside down, but they would need to be squashed up. A great product which will make it much easier to store wellies out of the way.

This boot bad is suitable for standard Wellington boots, riding boots etc. My UK Size 8's fit in with plenty of room to spare (see photos), so these should hold most adult sizes with ease. I like the fact there is a liner which is dampproof, so you'd not likely to get your car dirty after walking through muddy fields and bridleways... ...although your dog probably will get the car in a mess! The lining looks like you should be able to wipe it clean once home. The bag comes with a detachable shoulder strap, that is adjustable for length, and a carrying handle. It also has a small zipped pocket on the back, large enough for wellie socks or other small essentials. No more messing around with old carrier bags for me, I just wish I'd discovered this sort of thing before!

Up until now I’ve used an old carrier bag to keep my muddy wellies in when they’re in the car. This boot bag is so much smarter! The bag is made of strong black nylon on the outside and waterproof aluminium foil on the inside, which is easy to keep clean. It has both a carry handle and a shoulder strap. There’s even a little zipped compartment at the back, and a name card holder so you can see whose boots are whose without having to look inside. It fits my size six wellies no problem. It’s a great product and I can happily recommend it.

Also beim nächsten Kauf muss ich besser auf die Größe achten. Die Reitstiefel meiner Tochter passen in die Tasche nur leicht geknickt. Der Reißverschluss hat leider nur zwei Wochen gehalten, und schon kaputt. Sehr sehr schade!!!
